About us
The College of Borrego Foundation, established 12 years ago, is located in the remote, quiet village of Borrego Springs and nestled in the beautiful Borrego Valley, bordered by dramatic mountains on three sides. The closest post-high school institution is more than an hour distant.
The College provides auxiliary education resources and opportunities to the youth and adults of Borrego Springs. With the changing of the times and technology, the College of Borrego recently added a Distance Learning Resource Center (DLRC) to its curriculum.
In addition to the enrichment classes that the College provides, the DLRC offers a rich choice of basic learning skills, workforce development courses, and continuing education opportunities. The learning environment is characterized by Internet based classes delivered through our classroom desktop computers. Mentors and tutors are available to assist students with their questions and needs.
